My Loan Officer from the bank called me the other day. She exclaimed gleefully, "Julie, I love you!"
This surprised me for several reasons:
1) I knew she was away on vacation with her husband.
2) We have a nice friendly relationship and share a lot of personal stuff, but this was definitely taking our relationship to a new level.
3) In the several years that I have known her, I have never heard her so excited and jubulent.
I paused for a minute and said, "Hey, what's going on?" She then explained that she and her husband were on their way to NY for a friend's wedding and he had agreed with her that her face was clearer than it had been in ages.
"It's working!", she continued, "That stuff is really working!" THAT STUFF is known to some of you as Skin Free Niaouli Scrub for Blemish Prone Skin.
"You just don't understand." she continued. "I have spent a Fortune on prescription products like Tazorac and some sulfur face wash. I even bought the entire Proactive line and NOTHING has cleared up my face until now!"
Apparently, poor M. had been taught by her dermatologist to "dry out" her skin. We had a long talk one day and I explained to her that there is actually a cycle of oil production. Your skin wants to remain balanced. If you dry it out with cleansers or other agents, you will simply stimulate your skin to produce more oil. Over production of oil can lead to clogged pores susceptible to infection and there you get more acne.
The Niaouli Scrub is specially formulated to fight bacteria, exfoliate your pores, and maintain the oil balance of your skin.
Says M.,in a quieter moment, "The blemish solution has made a dramatic improvement in my skin. It's not as oily and my acne is disappearing. I have been suffering with this for years and have finally found something that helps. The only problem is that I want it in a jug, not a tiny jar!"
Do you think this is going to help my credit score?
Whatever! I know that there are lots of folks out there with acne issues. If you would like to try out our Skin Free Niaouli Scrub for Blemish Prone Skin with a MONEY BACK GUARANTEE, send me an email at julieh@ceva.net. Tell me what you have tried for your acne and include a current picture of your problem areas. I will refund your money minus shipping if you don't see improvement in 10 days. (I will ask that you send me another picture at the end of 10 days).
This stuff works and I want you to try it out. Happy Trails! Julie

Skin Free Skincare Erases Skepticism of a Misadventurous Mom!
Allison P. out in Ohio writes the funny blog called Misadventures in Baby Raising. In reading Allison's reviews, I've discovered that she's just a teensy tiny bit skeptical about things ;)
When she received the Skin Free Eczema Relief Kit that we sent her to review, she thought there was no way the products would work on her daughter's problem skin. But guess what? Skin Free After Shower Spritz and Skin Free Extra Moisturizing Soap did such a great job on her daughter's tough, dry, cracked skin, that Allison decided to use it herself.
The end result? Allison says, "It would be very difficult for me to go back to regular lotion after using the Spritz!" I just love it when that happens!!!!
Allison is in the middle of running a big Summer Fun in the Sun Blog Party and has lots of cool giveaways including a Skin Free Eczema Relief Kit for some lucky winner. Please go visit her and take part in the fun! Later, Jules

The Horses Need You! Please help!
A message from Madeline Pickens that I just had to post. It makes me very angry that we are housing hundreds of thousands inmates who are either brutal criminals or imprisoned victims of the so called "Drug Wars" that are costing us billions of dollars each.
Americans exclaim in horror when we see genicide in other countries. I think it's time we took responsiblity for the genicide that we commit in our own country for the sake of convenience and/or profit. The Native Americans and their beautiful wild horses have been victims to our ignorance. Please read this message and take action.
Stop the Slaughter and Imprisoning of Thousands of Wild Horses & Burros
Contact Ken Salazar at the Bureau of Land Management
"Today there are over 30,000 wild horses and burros that are at risk of being euthanized by the US government. These wild horses are protected by The Wild Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act of 1971 (Public Law 92-195) which states: "It is the policy of Congress that wild free-roaming horses and burros shall be protected from capture, branding, harassment, or death."
But sadly, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), the government agency responsible for America's wild horses, is doing just the opposite. Claiming escalating costs and spending cuts, the BLM is holding about 10,000 of these wild horses snout-to-butt in long-term holding pens that cost American taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars. In addition, the BLM plans to increase the euthanization (via gun shot to the head) of these wild horses to help manage the herds.
It doesn't have to be this way.
With great research and planning, my team and I have developed a plan to create a million-acre Wild Horse Sanctuary in Nevada where these beautiful wild horses can live free and protected. The Sanctuary will return these wild horses and burros to their natural habitat, and be open to the public so families and children can come and experience the freedom and beauty of these extraordinary animals.
My plan saves American taxpayers approximately $700 million over the decade, provides sanctuary to America's wild horses and creates a new public resource for our children, what more could one ask for? To make this happen, I need your help. The BLM needs to hear from you - the American people - that you care about saving America's wild horses. Please email Interior Secretary Salazar and the Bureau of Land Management and tell them you care.

The Freebies4meandU Readaholic puts Skin Free Skin Care on Her List
Bridget H. has blogs over at Freebies4MeandU and over at the Readaholic Blog
She was really excited to try our products because of negative past experience with other brands. Bridget said, "The majority of products I have tried break me out in little itchy bumps because I'm have issues with skin allergies. I've tried Neutrogena, Almay, all kinds of products that are dermatologist recommended and still broke out in the itchy bumps."
After trying our Skin Free products, she exclaimed, "I can't believe how great my skin looks and feels. Skin Free, I'm your #1 fan!"
Bridget will be adding to her review later as she is sharing her products with her Mom and nephew who have eczema.
Thanks for a great review Bridget!

Piera Jolly has a Jolly Good Time Reviewing Skin Free Skincare
Piera Jolly over at Jolly Mom was kind enough to review some of our Skin Free products for Blemish Prone Skin.
One of the realties that adult women have to face is that the acne they thought they left behind them can flare up when hormone levels shift. We all know how frustrating it is to have blemishes! Many of my clients asked me to make some acne products, but I was hesitant to do so. There were just so many acne products out there that I didn't want to add more unless they offered something better than the norm.
As an experimental chemist, cook, and painter (aren't they all basically the same?), I often get ideas about mixing up something new. Sometimes, I just take an existing idea and try to improve on it. That's how Skin Free Niaouli Scrub was born! I really liked our Sweet and Smooth Sugar Scrub, so that became the base. Then I added a really fine cosmetic grade pumice to get deep into blocked pores. Organic Niaouli essential oil offered the antiseptic moeity to fight infection. Then I blended everything together with Skin Free Extra Moisturizing Liquid Soap.
When I tried my new concoction, my face felt so velvety and clean, I just knew I had a winner! The beauty is that you have a one step product that exfoliates, washes, moisturizes and medicates your skin at the same time. I think exfoliating your skin is important for all women to prevent breakouts.
Acne starts as a clogged pore. Then it gets infected and swells and it's downhill from there. You can read Piera's experience with the Niaouli Scrub for Blemish Prone Skin here.
Piera also tried the Skin Free green Clay Mask for Blemish Prone Skin Most people love this stuff, but I have to tell you I never use it. It just doesn't appeal to me. However, I would be in big trouble if I stopped making it for my clients who love it. I may even have to make a different kind of clay mask for people with extra sensitive skin. Why not? Piera is one of those who loves the mask. See what she says about it here.
The third product that Piera tried was the Skin Free Corrective Face Nectar. She was very happy with the results she got. She calls it her "little magic potion". See what else she says about it here.
It makes me so happy when people like my products! Why don't you try some and make me happy, too!
PS: i really need to apologise to Piera for overlooking her post in a timely fashion. She hosted a giveaway, but it's already closed. Unfortunately, her emails were going to an address that I don't read every day. SORRY PIERA!! You did a wonderful job. It was an accident, I promise :)) Julie

Mama of 3Munchkins Says Skin Free Fits the Life in the Frugal Lane
Ty W. is the author of Mama of 3 Munchkins. She's a SAHM with 3 kids who's gotten pretty smart about saving money, which you have to do when living "Life in the Frugal Lane". She uses her blog to help others save money and find great products. She's pretty inspirational and I'm really glad to work with her.
We sent Ty four products to review and I got the impression from her review that she liked all of them.
The Skin Free Super Moisture Body Balm went to her oldest daughter. It quickly cleared her rough elbow patches and didn't bother her allergies as it is fragrance- free..
Ty said that the Skin Free After Shower Moisture Spritz left her skin really fresh and she liked that you can apply it in the shower.
The Skin Free Green Clay Mask was so soothing that it almost put her to sleep!
Lastly was Ty's favorite, the Skin Free Sweet and Smooth Sugar Scrub. She loved to use it on her stretch marks when they got dry and itchy. She said it gave her skin a little pick-me-up, which we can all use from time to time.
Ty has a second website where she offers giveaways. Stop on by to see Ty's full review and enter her offer of a $30 Skin Free Skincare Gift Certificate. Thanks for reading, Julie

"As the mother in a family full of dry skin issues, I was excited to try several of the Skin Free Skincare Products. And let me tell you, they didn't disappoint! These great products are 100% natural and free from toxins, irritants, fragrances, colorants, petroleum derivatives, and animal products. The products are also affordable and effective. I would definitely recommend the Skin Free products to anyone looking for skincare products that work!"

A Psych Mommy Analyzes Skin Free Niaouli Scrub and Green Clay Face Mask
We could all use a little therapy occasionally right? Sometimes even the therapist needs a little therapy. Skin Free Skincare was happy to oblige when we were put in touch with Shari from A Psych Mommy.

We formulated our scrub with our own Skin Free Sugar Scrub base, Skin Free Liquid Soap, some organic Niaouli essential oil, some delicate cosmetic grade pumice, and just a dash of organic oils. I love the way it makes my skin feel like velvet!
Shari suggested the French Green Clay Mask be accompanied by candles and bubble bath. Try this great Skin Free product when you really want to pamper yourself! You can win a $30 gift certificate at Shari's site, so take a peek!

Skin Free Reviews Ann Again and Again.....
We had the pleasure of connecting with Ann of Ann Again and Again. Ann Describes herself as " a mother who isn't talking just to hear her own voice..." and we love what she has to say about Skin Free Skincare.
Ann's blog is the home of the Original Virtual Girls Night Out which is a really cool concept! She describes it best herself, "The original Virtual GNO is a blog-hopping party that began in the summer of 2008. I couldn't get a sitter and was in desperate need for time away from my children and some adult conversation. I decided to do the next best thing and turned to my blog friends. At least I can "get out" in my imagination."
Guests join the party by reading the VGNO post and then signing the Mr. Linky guest book with their name and blog link. Visit fellow bloggers that have signed in. It's a party, so you mingle! Go blog-hopping! The idea is for all the participants to connect. It certainly saves on gas and babysitting $$$. You need to keep up with Ann's blog to find the next VGNP post, so have at it.
Ann has separate sites for reviews and giveaways, so read both and check out her take on Skin Free Skincare. Could there be more for today? Read on....Julie

The Giveaway Reviews Skin Free Skincare
Katie and Sharla did a giveaway for Skin Free Skin Renewal System and Skin Free Basic Four Set and while back, but they just had a chance to post their reviews.
It's really interesting to see what different folks have to say about our products. While Sharla gave us 100%, Katie had a few qualms. Check out what they had to say on The Giveaway today. More to come, Julie

Who's Ready for Another Giveaway? Go to Kiddies Corner Deals!
When it rains, it pours Skin Free Skincare Giveaways. Or so it seems!!!
I've got a couple for you, so watch the posts coming up.
First is from Nichol over at Kiddies Corner Deals, Reviews and Giveaways
Nichol reviewed our Skin Free Extra Moisturizing Soap and Skin Free Super Moisture Body Balm.. She loved them because of their great moisturing effects. She said about the Balm, "This is my miracle in a bottle."
Nichol's certainly not alone in voicing that idea. If you haven't tried our Skin Free Super Moisture Body Balm, you don't know what real moisturizing is all about!
For one thing, it's 100% oils and butters. Did you know that by definition, lotions and creams are made of 85 to 95% water? They don't moisturize as well because your skin doesn't absorb water. It's designed to be waterproof to keep out infection. Skin Free Super Moisture Body Balm soaks in completely and lasts all day. You don't use as much as a typical lotion either, which makes our price very affordable. You get approximately 20 times as many applications.
Nichols is serving up a $30 Skin Free Skincare Gift Certificate for some lucky duck and her contest runs through July 7th. Rush on over and check out her contest while you are massaging your hands with some SkinFree Balm! Later, Jules

Baba Knows Best About Skin Free Skincare
Deborah Sloan aka "Baba" really got my attention with her blog Baba's farmhouse because she's ":remodeling an 1888 Victorian Stone Country Farmhouse,{and reporting} product reviews, giveaways, and random ramblings of our hilarious life."
I would really love to have an 1888 Victorian Stone Country Farmhouse! Here in Nelson Co, VA, they do exist, but most are already lived in. The one's that aren't inhabited by humans have various and sundry other occupants. Some of them I would rather not run into.
Deborah and her husband have several websites your might want to visit. Her Etsy Shop "Babba's Boutique" features knitted goods and ornaments. Her Hubby Robert's Art Shop features wood, metal and glass sculpture, which also hangs in some Colorado galleries.
We asked Deborah to review our two newest products, The Skin Free Firming Matrix Creme for Face and the Skin Free Acai Scrub for Sparkling Skin. She's offers her typically honest and humorous thoughts on both on her blog. Take a look and while you are there, visit the farm!

One Bored Mommy Gets Some Well-Deserved Excitement from Skin Free Skincare.
Well, I guess three IS a charm. I just received a most charming review of Skin Free Skincare products from Courtney over at One Bored Mommy.
Courtney has suffered from psoriasis since she was a child. She is just the type of client that inspired me to formulate Skin Free products. People who don't suffer from such obvious skin ailments have no idea how emotionally debilitating they can be--especially for kids.
Please visit Courtney's blog--especially if you or someone you love has psoriasis.
I'm really glad that COurtney got to try our products. Hope you will try them, too!
Keep smilin', Jules

It's summertime and the living is, well, I guess "easy" isn't the most appropriate answer these days, but it's still a great time to play outside and go barefoot in the fresh grass.
That's exactly what Kathleen over at Katydid and Kid told me she likes to do. She found quickly that the Skin Free Sweet and Smooth Sugar Scrub is great for smoothing out those rough callouses that you get from going barefoot!
Katy also tried our Skin Free Extra Moisturizing Soap and Shampoo Bar. She used it from head to toe and even found it worked well in her hair!
Katy's third product to review was the Skin Free Lite Moisture for Blemish Prone Skin. Most people are learning that you get better results when using a lite moisturizer on blemished skin than you do when you try to dry your skin out. Skin Free Lite Moisture for Blemish Prone Skin is a very lite moisturizer made with organic extra virgina olive oil and organic macadamia nut oil. We also add niaouli, which is in the melaelucca family along with the tea tree. Niaouli has the same antibacterial profile as does Tea Tree, but we find it more pleasant.
Now, did I mention that Katy has a super $30 Skin Free Gift Certificate for some lucky winner? Why don't you visit her site and see if that winner can be you?
Have a great day! Julie

Shana W. and Her Three Wisemen Endorse Skin Free Skincare
Shana over at My Three Wisemen just sent me a message, " I couldn't be happier with the products you sent! WE LOVE THEM!!! Thank you for letting me help get the word out about your products. And please keep me in mind for any future reviews."
She not only loves the products, but she did an awesome video of her son's Caleb and his improvement while using the Skin Free Extra Moisturizing Soap, the Skin Free After Shower Moisture Spritz, and the Skin Free Super Moisture Body Balm.
Caleb, who is 10, definitely likes the products! He says he enjoys the products because he can see improvement with his eczema and it doesn't burn when he uses them like the other products he has used. He wants to continue using the products.
Shana recommends these products for anyone. She also used the Lite Moisture for Blemish Prone Skin. Her husband noticed how much softer and smoother her skin is while using Skin Free. She also has no problem with her skin being too oily after using.
Why don't you visit Shana's blog and see what else she had to say, watch her video and enter her contest for a $30 Skin Free Gift Certificate! Later, my angels.

Sweeps4Bloggers Tries Out the Skin Free Spa Scrub Power Pack
Valerie at Sweeps4Bloggers is a maniac for giveaways. She tried out the Skin Free Spa Scrub Power Pack, which includes the Skin Free Sweet and Smooth Sugar Scrub and the Skin Free Extra Moisturizing Liquid Soap.
Her thoughts:
On the Sugar Scrub, "I love the way my skin feels after using this. Just a little bit gently removes the outer layer of dead skin. It was gentle enough to use on my face, and tough enough to use on my very dry feet. :)"
On the Liquid Soap, "This lathers up well and cleans gently. And it rinses off easily without leaving a soapy residue. And.... those fine people at Skin Free are donating $1 from every purchase to the Susan G. Koman for the Cure Association :)"
She's offering a $30 Gift Certicate from Skin Free Skincare to the winner of her contest, so take a peak and see if you can win!

Dolce-Dolce Declares Skin Free Skincare "Delicious"
I was really pleased to read the new Dolce-Dolce review of the Skin Free Basic Four products because writer Carla Naylor of Faces By Carla found our name a bit too pratical for the luxury you get from our products.
FacesByCarla is a boutique agency incubated to bring back the ‘beauty’ in client service. They provide Makeup Artistry, Hair Expertise, Fashion Models, Professional Photography, Wardrobe & Fashion Styling, Event Performers, Creative Direction, Project Management and Event Planning & Execution via our best-of-breed talent network for corporate projects and to individual clients from all lifestyles, skin tones and cultural groups. They have worked with the most prestigious brands and clientele. Key Portfolios include:
- 13 Seasons of Fashion Week
- 1000+ Fashion & Runway Shows
- 850+ Bridal & Life Projects (inc. 690+ Weddings)
- 300+ Fundraisers & Events
- 150+ Editorial & Interactive Stints
- 100+ Celebrity Clients
Carla's group also make their best attempts to work with brands and designers that use chemically-safe ingredients, are environmental-friendly and embrace non-animal-tested practices.
In other words, when Carla liked the products, I was quite pleased.
Carla's fave seemed to be the Skin Free Niaouli Butter Stick which she loved because she could keep it in her purse at all times for during the day moisture without fear of spilling or ruining an expensive bag. She "adored' the thick richness of the Skin Free Super Moisture Balm and thought the Skin Free After Shower Spritz was really "luxe". I think I need to get Carla to do my copy from now on!
Visit Dolce-Dolce to see her review and learn more about up to the minute trends in Health, Beauty, fashion and Life.

Skin Free Skincare from an Ecological Perspective
It's extremely rewarding to have regular customers who stay with you during the years, but it's even more affirmation when the children of your loyal customers get on board.
Jennifer Grayson contacted me several months ago about reviewing Skin Free Skincare in her eco-conscious blog. Jennifer is the daughter of a long-time client and I was flattered and delighted to have a second generation customer.
Jennifer's mother had found our products on the Environmental Working Group's Skin Deep website, which rates product ingredients for their safety and toxicity. Skin Free Skincare products are currently rated at the lowest toxicity 0-1.
If you don't know anything about the Environmental Working Group, visit their website. They have a lot of interesting information about product ingredients and their effects.
Please visit Jenifer's Red, White, and Green Blog where caring for the environment is considered patriotic!

Maria G. makes AWESOME videos for Skin Free Products!
What a nice gesture! Maria G. over at Maria's Space made the coolest videos of her son and our products and I think she posted them on her blog AND YouTube. I asked if we could post them too because her son is so adorable I could hug him and kiss him forever.
Basically, Maria reinforces that Skin Free Skincare products are hot! No fragrances and no harsh chemicals = No Burning and No Fear. One of the greatest things I ever here is that they can be applied to really nasty children's eczema without burning and resistance from the child.
If you don't have children or you don't have eczema, that might not mean much, but parents know that when you apply typical lotion formulations to broken skin, it Hurts! When your child is in pain, you are in pain.
Using Skin Free Skincare's all vegan oil formulas allows you to stop that pain. And no matter what they tell you at the big-typical-lotion-company, pain is not a good thing. Alcohols and harsh chemicals that cause burning can also cause eczema to get worse. Artificial fragrances cause up to 85% of eczema breakouts.
We choose the right ingredients and choose to leave out the wrong ingredients. And we choose to keep our prices reasonable, as well!
I saw a new product advertized on TV for less than $2 an ounce. Well, guess what? Skin Free After Shower Spritz and Skin Free Super Moisture Balm are less than $2 an ounce, too! And guess what ELSE? There's NO water in our products. So the less than $2 per ounce that you spend on Skin Free goes a lot farther!!!
So go to your local Walgreen's and buy some :) If they don't have the products in stock, please ask them to order. You need some Skin Free right now!! love ya'll, Julie
PS: Almost forgot: Maria's Giving Away a $30 Skin Free Skincare Gift Certificate so go on over to Maria's Place and win some Skin Free.

Firming Matrix Creme for Face is Working!!!
I got a call last night from my friend, Joyce. Joyce rarely calls, so I knew it was important and I got right back to her. She was so excited I started chuckling. Apparently, one of her clients walked into her shop yesterday morning and said," Joyce! OMG, what are you using on your face? All your wrinkles are gone!"
Joyce said, "Julie, I just had to call and tell you because this lady had no idea that I was using your new cream. It works! It really WORKS!!!"
I can't tell you how excited I am about this. You know, some times you find a product or an ingredient and it makes a bunch of promises and your really hope that it will do what it says, but that doesn't always happen.
With my new Skin Free Firming Matrix Creme for Face, everyone who has tried it is telling me that they are seeing visable results in about two weeks. I was hoping for changes in about a month.
How does this stuff work? It has two natural ingredients that work to form a matrix within the skin. This matrix acts to stop collagen depletion. It also begins to build new collagen and it reduces inflammation.
Skin Free Firming Matrix Creme for Face will be up on the website by tomorrow. If you are concerned about looking younger and having firmer, smoother skin, you might want to try some!
I'm going to go put some on right now! Julie

OH CANADA!!! Come on down and shop at SkinFree.Net
We have been slowly trying to improve things in shipping to our neighbors in the North. We know how brutally cold it gets up there. You Canadians NEED Skin Free Skincare.
It's taken a while and we do apologize, but the Shopping Cart is finally set up to accept Canadian shoppers. Yeah!!!
Unfortunately, it does cost us a bit more to cross the border. Therefore, Canadian orders will receive free shipping over $50.00 US. Orders under $50 will be charged $10 for handling.
USA orders will still have free shipping for orders over $25.00 and we think that's a deal!!! Orders under $25 will be charged a $5.00 handling fee.
As you may know, we live in the boonies and we don't get postal delivery to our warehouse & offices. For that reason, we will add a $5 handling fee to any order that requires Priority Mail.
Hope everybody likes the new regime. Let us know if you have any suggestions. We are trying to find store, distributors and Canadian websites that will aloow us to sell our products to Canadians either more cheaply or direct and in person.
Have a beautiful day! Julie

Testing Skin Free at 90 Degrees
You know when it's cold and windy and snowy outside, using moisturizers is a no brainer. Practically, any moisturizer feels good to dry, dehydrated skin. The trick is making a moisturizer that can stand up to 90 degrees Farehheit and not feel too heavy, greasy, or oily.
My new friend Storm over at Confessions of a Psychotic Housewife has approved both Skin Free Super Moisture Butter Cream and Skin Free Lite Moisture Cream for Daily Use.
She says they are perfect for hot and humid weather. I'm happy to hear that my formulations stood up to that test. The Skin Free Super Moisture Butter Cream is a lighter version of our Skin Free Super Moisture Balm. While the Balm is made without water, the Butter Creme is a more classic formulation and it does not contain soy, just in case you are allergic.
The Skin Free Lite Moisture Cream for Daily Use was formulated as a light face cream using my favorite oil, Macadamia Nut. The product soaks deep into your skin immediately, feels great and helps you look great too!
Storm is offering a giveaway, so go on over and visit soon.

Important Notice about DMF
Hello everyone,
I just recived this notice and thought that I would post it in full for the benefit of all. Mom's Be aware that this chemical may be found in shoes and soft toys.
June 2009, Bulletin AGY/DMF/01
Dear Julie,
In January 2009 Member States of the EU voted to ban dimethyl fumurate
(DMF) from consumer products^1. DMF is an anti-fungal/biocidal agent and is
known to cause physical reactions like dermatitis or allergies. It has been
banned from the European market in consumer products as of 1 May 2009.
Member states of the EU have the responsibility to ensure that products
containing DMF are prohibited from being placed or made available on the
market; products already on the market containing more than 0.1 mg/kg will
also have to be removed from shelves and may not be sold as of 1 May 2009.
DMF is a fine white crystalline powder, which is used in consumer products
to prevent the growth of fungi and mold species. DMF is most often used in
sachets or pouches fixed inside furniture or added to footwear boxes. The
substance evaporates and impregnates the product, protecting it from
moulds. Due to this mode of action, consumers are also affected though the
evaporation of DMF through the clothes and onto the skin where it can cause
painful contact dermatitis. The symptoms of contact dermatitis include
itching, irritation, redness, and burns. Inhalation irritancy has also been
reported as has eye irritation where contact is made with the eye.A significant impact of this ban is that there is an obligation to remove
products from the market where it is known that the product, or even parts
of the product, contain more than 0.1 mg/kg DMF. High risk products are
leather shoes and furniture and those products bearing an antimould
statement. Soft toys containing DMF have also featured on the EUs rapid
alert system for dangerous consumer products^2 (RAPEX). It is important to
note that the new legislation covers all types of products and is not
simply restricted to footwear, furniture and toys.
Allergy Standards Limited is a physician-led global certification body.
Our certification incorporates, among other aspects, limits for the
presence of certain allergenic or irritant chemicals. Together with our
sister company, Allergy Standards Consulting, we are available to assist
you with any inquiries that you may have regarding this, or any other
consumer protection issue.
Yours sincerely

We are quite prod to be Product Junkie Approved! Go on over and try to win some Skin Free products for yourself!
Thanks Kristen. Great job. I want some jewelry!! Julie

Cherrie @ Im A Hot Mom Loves Skin Free for Acne and Rosacea
I don't generally recommend Skin Free products for Rosacea because it's a complex disease and has a bacterial component. That being said, Cherrie B., the beauty and brains behind I'm a Hot Mom has written a great review about Skin Free Extra Moisturizing Soap and Shampoo Bar actually helping her facial issues. She also has been using the Skin Free Super Moisture Butter Creme on herself and her kids with great success.
If you are interested in reading Cherrie's comments (and I know you are!!) please check out this link and see what she has to say.
Thanks Cherrie for a really great review! I'm so glad the products helped out. Don't be afraid to use Skin Free Extra Moisturizing Soap on Zoe- Pugdog. She will be most appreciative! Jules
