Hello Everyone,
I hope you all had a safe and productive Halloween. For those of you who took advantage of our 30% off sale, I hope you enjoy all those wonderful products that you will receive in a few days. Thank you for your support!
If you missed our 48 hour special sale, don't worry. We will be running quite a few of these between now and Christmas, so keep a look out on Twitter, Facebook, SkinFree.net, and right here on our blog for info.
We have a new issue at our warehouse that we want to tell you about. We are now seriously promoting our original Blue Ridge Gypsy Studio line of products, which is scented with organic essential oils. Near Christmas, we also have products that we do not regularly sell that are fragranced with a blend of organic and artificial scents.
We have added a request on the shopping cart for you to let us know if you have fragrance allergies. We have established a separate zone in our warehouse for packing Skin Free orders for those who are super sensitive to scents. If you are one of these people, please let us know in the Comments Section of the Shopping Cart. We understand your sensitivity and do not wish to cause anyone any harm. We realize that we have some clients so sensitive to fragrances that just having them cling to the packaging of our products can cause a reaction. We wish to avoid this, so please let us know. It's a Big Warehouse! We can accomidate your needs.
Thanks to all and as always, Very Best Wishes, Julie

May Asthma & Allergy Awareness Month
I got an email from The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America http://www.aafa.org/ letting me know that May is Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month. This was pretty exciting news for me, since allergies plague me all year round and are part of the reason I formulated Skin Free Skincare products.
I became even more interested when I saw that the AAFA has another site http://www.asthmaandallergyfriendly.com/ where they actually certify companies as Asthma and Allergy Friendly. I thought this would be a great opportunity to share Skin Free products with those with asthma and allergies stimulated by fragrances.
Unfortunately, fragrance allergies are not even considered by the AAFA on this site. I think this is a huge oversite. There are thousands of people (like me!) who get severe reactions to various perfume and fragrance components. There are times when I can't even walk down the detergent aisle at the grocery store. I avoid most really strong fragrances whenever possible. I've even had to ask folks I work with to refrain from wearing certain perfumes. I know I'm not alone!!
I wrote to the AAFA and asked them to include skincare products in their certification program. They responded politely and said they would consider it. If you have severe fragrance allergies, please consider emailing them and making the same request.
More on fragrance allergies soon! Best to all, Julie
